I have already spent nearly hours playing in Westbridge Hills and 75 hours in Bjornholm over the past 3 months. So, be careful playing this game because it will suck you in and can be a major time sink.

My only knock on the game is that it was made by an European developer so for an American audience, they have a few things that seem a little off. First, the currency shows the dollar sign after the numerical value, which is not customary in the US. Secondly, in Westbridge Hills, there are many bus stops out in the middle of nowhere. I am almost wondering if this is some kind of joke since mass transit would not be found in rural America.

Furthermore, it would be nice to switch to more non-metric units. For example, although you can choose US dollars and miles, the tractors still guzzle gas in liters and you buy land in hectares. Also, as intriguing as the biogas plant is, I have never seen such a thing here in the US and quite frankly, the concept seems made-up.

It’s fun to collect chaff and load up the hopper there, but maybe this is a European thing. And speaking of the biogas plant, there is also a bug in the game at present where if you fill up the silo too much, you’ll end up with an empty silo that claims there is some amount of silage left over if you go through the process of emptying it. You can no longer use them at this point.

These are merely quirks that would seem easy to fix in a subsequent version of the game. However, it doesn’t really detract from the fun in the game play. I highly recommend it, and I can say I’ve definitely gotten my money’s worth out of the game. Should download and use some mods on line so you can open and change price and daily upkeep cost. Cost in game is way to high. Most mods are made for Change in the mod’s file under “modDesc”. So protection on. You can make changes to game file to store “placeables”.
