The VM will not start correctly after sysprep, seemingly stuck in a startup loop. I’m trying to triage the VM image I have to determine why it wont boot up. That being said, the system is building correctly right up to the Ec2launch. In Packer I am using the virtualbox-iso builder, with the amazon-import post-processor, but the AWS import always fails with an error “StatusMessage”: “FirstBootFailure: This import request failed because the instance failed to boot and establish network connectivity.
After encountering this error a few times, I tried to startup the sysprep’d VM image within virtualbox, to see if this was only happening within AWS. I am trying to determine what logs I can check to understand the system startup stoppage after shutdown, and new OOBE startup?
